Emerging coders start out by learning the fundamental principles of coding with Scratch or Python; but that is just the beginning! Talon Coding has a unique structure and curriculum that allows all students to progress in a structured environment. 

As a seasoned martial artist, I have witnessed the immense benefit of progressing through a structured belt system both as a student and an instructor. It provides timely, actionable goals and confidence as students work toward and achieve each rank. Talon Coding mirrors traditional martial arts belt systems in its curriculum, offering formal ranks (slap bracelets) to mark students' progress as they continuously improve their coding skills! At each rank, students engage in project development, teamwork exercises, and hands-on learning to master the content at each level.
